I actually had to look this up. Its a very scary thing to try and think of our population increasing too drastically and we may obviously run out of resources. The most scary thing to me is the lack of clean water. In America is seems we get spoiled with the necessities we need to live being so easily available. Tough to imagine some countries still struggling for clean water.
That is quite a scary thing. Hopefully, with businesses beginning sustainability initiatives this help eliminate or at least delay malthusian. Also, the population in Japan (I believe) should be decreasing in the next 20 years or so. It seems that there is little reproduction so a majority of their population is getting old and will be dying off. Which is sad to think about, but when we think about malthusian being a problem, maybe this is good for now.
